Where can I find the requirements list for my student’s school?

Simply use the search tool on the home page of the website, or click ‘School Search’ in the header: start typing the school name and select it from the list. On the school’s page, select the full package option and click ‘Start’. Please note that not all schools provide their requirements lists.

Can I order if my student’s school hasn’t provided any requirement lists?

If your school hasn’t provided us with their requirements lists, you can still shop with OfficeMax MySchool by clicking ‘Products’ in the header, or browsing our product range from the home page of this website. Add any items you want to your shopping cart, and go through the checkout process to complete your order.

How can I delete items or update the quantity of an item in my cart?

You can update the quantity of an item by clicking the minus or plus symbols next to the current quantity. To delete an item, click the trash icon on the right of the item’s total price. The cart will be updated automatically. 

Why am I unable to see the contents of some packs?

In some cases, schools have requested we keep pack contents closed. In this case, you will be able to see the name of the pack, but not the contents inside. 

I am interested in purchasing a BYOD device only, how can I do that?

Search for your school, and click ‘Start’ next to the second option called ‘View devices recommended by your school’. If your school has not provided a list of recommended BYOD devices, you can still shop by browsing our Products selection. 

I am interested in only paying for school donations, how can I do that?

Search for your school, and click ‘Start’ next to the third option called ‘View your school’s charges and donations’. Please note that not all schools have chosen to enable this option. 

What are Required items on the list?

Any items that are compulsory for that year and subject will be marked as ‘Required’. You will still be able to remove such items from the cart, should you need to.

Can I shop for more than one student?

Yes, you can add another student just before you check out – simply click ‘Add Another Student’. If they are from the same school as your other student, select the top option called ‘From the same school’. If they are from a different school, please select the second option and go through the same process as with the first student. You will be able to complete payment for all orders at the same time.

*Please note that if you add another student and order their stationery together, they will be delivered in the same box. To help separate the goods, it will be clearly stated on the invoice which student and class each item is for.  

How do I know whether my order has been placed successfully?

You will receive an order confirmation email within minutes of completing the checkout process. 

How can I pay for my order if I order online?

The OfficeMax MySchool website currently accepts payment via credit card and Internet Banking (A2A) for orders, with all orders on the website billed in NZD. When paying by credit card, your card will be charged once your order has been picked in our warehouse, although your goods will not be dispatched until your selected delivery period. In the unlikely event that we cannot ship all of your order at once, we will only charge for the items that we can ship.

When your order is placed using a credit card, a $1 authorisation (to validate this card) will appear on your online transactions for a limited period of time. This is not a charge, only an authorisation.

Please note that Internet Banking (A2A) is configured per school and may not be available if your school has chosen to disable this payment method for collecting fees, charges and/or donations. 

What name(s) will appear on my credit card statement?

All stationery purchases OfficeMax MySchool will appear on your credit card statement, with OfficeMax as the organisation you have purchased from. If you have opted to pay for your school fees/donations and/or class resource fees on OfficeMax MySchool, this payment will appear as a separate line on your statement for the school.

Is my credit card information secure?

OfficeMax MySchool does not store your credit card details. A high strength encryption facility on the payment page converts your credit card details into a format that is considered to be impossible to break into. 

Do you provide WINZ quotes?

If you require a stationery quote to apply for financial support, please select the print icon from your cart once you have selected all the stationery required. If you do not have access to a printer, you can also send the page to WINZ by e-mail by clicking File -> Send -> Page by Email.
